Lake County Engagement Session
A family vacation turned into the sweetest engagement session for my brother-in-law and his beautiful fiancée (now wife!), Jade.
It started with Mexican food and margaritas by the lake, then straight into chasing the sunset, stopping in random spots where the light just made sense. And as the last rays of light touched the water, we ended the evening with a spontaneous “how about jumping from the boat?” moment. Made it up as we went. Just following the light, the laughter, and the love.
To Matthew and Jade, thank you for going with the flow, trusting me, and bringing such a positive and beautiful energy to the session. It truly made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. Matthew, thank you for hanging in there and battling against your proper way of doing things, for stepping out of the box for this Costa Rican photographer (haha), for breaking some rules, and just enjoying the ride!
Huge thanks to my amazing husband, David, for driving the car, the boat, and for following all my crazy ideas with so much support and love. And to my wonderful in-laws, thank you for watching the kids so we could make this happen. It seriously takes a village!
I absolutely loved being trusted with this season and your photos. It meant so much to me. But more than that, I just want to take a moment to say how incredibly happy and excited I am to celebrate this beautiful season with all of you, and especially to celebrate Matthew and Jade as they begin this brand new chapter together.
